I want to start by saying the Mercury outboard itself is excellent. It’s on my boat, it runs beautifully, and I’m happy with the performance. My frustration is with the warranty registration process. When I bought the engine, I was told everything would be handled, but I later found out I needed to register it myself within 10 days to activate the full warranty. I missed the window by a few days because I didn’t get clear instructions. When I reached out to Electrical Marine Solutions, they did help me sort it out, but it took multiple emails and a fair amount of stress. I shouldn’t have to chase down warranty details after spending that kind of money. Just make sure you double-check the paperwork and registration deadlines if you buy from them. Great product, but the after-sale follow-up needs improvement.

The LS3 engine itself is fantastic—exactly what I wanted for my project car. No complaints about the quality or the price. Where things got a little frustrating was the communication during the ordering process. I had a few questions about compatibility with my existing transmission, and it took a couple of follow-up emails to get a clear answer. I understand they’re busy, but a quicker response would have saved me a few days of uncertainty. Shipping was fine, the engine arrived safe, and it’s running great now. Just wish the pre-sale support had been a bit more responsive. Still, happy with the purchase overall.

Overall, I’m very happy with my Yamaha outboard. The team was knowledgeable and helped me choose the right engine for my fishing boat. The price was competitive, and the engine itself is a beast—quiet, efficient, and plenty of power. My only minor complaint is that delivery took about a week longer than the initial estimate. To be fair, they did communicate the delay and kept me updated, but it threw off my mechanic’s schedule a bit. Would I buy from them again? Absolutely. Just maybe plan for a little extra shipping time. The product is top-notch, and the support was solid.
