Delivery & Receipt Instructions

Upon Delivery

1. Inspect Immediately Check the crate or packaging for any visible damage before signing
2. Note Damage If there is visible damage, write “DAMAGED” clearly on the carrier’s delivery receipt before signing
3. Take Photos Photograph any damage to the packaging or product before unpacking
4. Accept or Refuse If damage is severe, you may refuse delivery and contact us immediately
5. Keep Documentation Retain all delivery receipts and documentation for insurance purposes

Unpacking Instructions

  1. Carefully remove the engine from the crate or pallet

  2. Do not use excessive force that could damage components

  3. Inspect the engine for concealed damage

  4. Keep all original packaging and documentation for warranty purposes

  5. Do not dispose of the crate until you have confirmed the engine is in perfect condition

Failed Delivery Attempts

If you are not available to accept delivery:

Second attempt Carrier attempts delivery again (typically next business day)
After 2–3 attempts Package may be held at local depot for pickup
Storage fees You may be responsible for any additional storage or redelivery fees

Damaged or Lost Shipments

Visible Damage Upon Delivery

If your shipment arrives with visible damage to the packaging:

  1. Note damage on delivery receipt – Write “DAMAGED” clearly before signing

  2. Take photographs – Document the damage thoroughly

  3. Refuse delivery if severely damaged – If the engine is clearly compromised, you may refuse delivery

  4. Contact us immediately – Email help-desk@electricalmarinesolutions.pl within 48 hours of delivery

Concealed Damage (Discovered After Unpacking)

If you discover damage after unpacking:

  1. Do not install the engine – Installation may void your ability to file a damage claim

  2. Take photographs – Document the damage and retain all packaging

  3. Contact us within 48 hours – Email help-desk@electricalmarinesolutions.pl with photos and description

  4. Retain packaging – Keep all original packaging for inspection

Lost Shipments

If your tracking shows “delivered” but you have not received the package:

  1. Check with neighbors or building management – Carriers may leave packages with a receptionist or neighbor

  2. Check carrier’s proof of delivery – Some carriers provide GPS coordinates or delivery photos

  3. Contact us – We will initiate a carrier investigation

Important: We are not liable for lost or stolen packages after delivery is confirmed by the carrier. Please ensure your delivery location is secure.

Insurance Claims

All shipments are fully insured at no additional cost to you. Insurance covers:

  • Loss or damage during transit

  • The full purchase value of the product

Insurance claims are handled through the carrier. We will assist you with the claims process for any damage or loss that occurs during shipping.


Shipping Restrictions

PO Boxes

We do not ship to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. A physical street address with a valid contact phone number is required for all shipments.

Remote Areas

Deliveries to remote or hard-to-reach areas may incur additional shipping charges or extended delivery times. We will notify you if this applies to your order.

Hazardous Materials

Some products (such as engines with residual fuel or batteries) may be classified as hazardous materials for shipping. These items require special handling and may have additional shipping restrictions or costs.

A: For shipments outside the EU, customs duties and import taxes are the responsibility of the customer. These are not included in our shipping costs.

Q: What if my engine arrives damaged?

A: Inspect the package upon delivery. Note any damage on the delivery receipt, take photos, and contact us within 48 hours. We will assist with the claim process.

Q: Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?

A: Contact us immediately at help-desk@electricalmarinesolutions.pl. If the order has not yet shipped, we may be able to update the address. Once shipped, we cannot redirect packages.

Q: Do you ship to PO Boxes?
